Chicago is known as one of the largest cities in the United States. It is also well known for its amazing architectural styles and skyscrapers, a treat to the eyes. There are a number of museums sporting the art collections in the city.  Located on the south west shoreline of the impossibly large Lake Michigan, Chicago comes with amazing beaches.  All these make Chicago a well known tourist spot, with a number of tourists flocking here, all across the year.

The Art Institute of Chicago is publicly voted as the best museum in the world. You have to visit this place at least once when in Chicago.

You need to spend an entire day in this building to view arts that cover 5,000 years of human history.

You get to see masterpieces by noted artists all across the world. Every weekend, there are fun art making activities for kids as well.

2. Millennium Park (FREE)

This is one of the newest places in the city, which has become a popular tourist destination. All through the year, free performances and concerts are held here.

3. 360 Chicago

360 Chicago is an open-air Skywalk located in the heart of the city.

It’s former name was John Hancock Observatory.

Open till 11 pm, the elevators take you up to the 94th floor at a height of 1,000 feet within 40 seconds. The multimedia Sky Tour is quite impressive, and you can check out the history of the city on the 80 foot wall.

You get to learn a lot from this place. Moreover, from the height you can spot other landmarks like Wrigley Field, Navy Pier, and the marinas.
